Argan Oil for Skin Health

What is Argan oil?

Argan oil is extracted from the berry fruits of the Moroccan argan tree. To protect the argan trees, the area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998. Since the fruits are surrounded by thorns, you wait until the harvest until the fruits fall themselves. Gleaning and sorting can then only be done by hand. The cores in which the seeds are found will be also by tedious manual work separated from the pulp. The seed is ground by a stone mill system until pulp is obtained, from which the valuable oil is extracted. To this day, traditional extraction of oil is retained. Because this is extremely expensive, this argan oil is one of the most valuable oils. Meanwhile, the traditional extraction of oil by industrial machinery finds a strong competitor. Nets are stretched under the trees, the trees shaken by machines until the berries fall into the nets. So they try to get the valuable oil in a cheaper way.
The taste of argan oil is characterized by an intense nut flavor. In Europe, however, argan oil is mostly used in the spa. It is i.e. used in creams, soaps, shampoos, lotions.
Argan oil can be used both topically and internally.
It is one excellent oil for the beautification of skin, hair and nails.
