Shea butter is extracted from the nuts of the shea tree. Shea butter mainly contains fatty and oleic acids as well as vitamin E. This makes it a popular skin care product as it moisturises and protects the skin. Shea butter penetrates deeply into the skin and its active ingredients effectively protect it from dehydration and wrinkle formation thus perfectly nourishing it.
